And unfortunately, about 2 of those are true for me. I've read the books multiple times, I have t shirts and other paraphenelia, I've attended every midnight showing.
Last night was no exception even though I almost overslept (motherhood is affecting my night owl capabilities). My sister, a group of friends and I headed over to the Studio Movie Grill to see the much anticipated Breaking Dawn, Part 1.
Let me explain why midnight premieres rock...one of the first to view the movie (duh!), mostly adult crowd, fan camraderie, fan outfits.
I'm an avid reader who knows that movies never do books justice, but each movie has gotten better and better until this point. I didn't like Breaking Dawn, Part 1.
I won't give away the plot or the negatives for that matter; but here are some positives:

Bella's wedding gown - GORGEOUS!!! Carolina Herrera created a masterpiece. Simple, classic, it's all in the details.
The ending
I didn't like this book in the series either, but I don't think that is what's affecting my opinion. And though the critics annihilated the movie, most fans I've spoken with loved it.
Here's hoping Part 2 does the ending of the Twilight saga justice. See ya at midnight 11/16/2012.
